Why I Like Schipper Paint By Number Kits
The have been manufactured in Germany for the past 40 years.
That being said, SCHIPPER Arts & Crafts was one of the first manufacturers in Germany to introduce the paint by number technique which was first developed in the USA.
Schipper perfected the technique while producing their paint by number kits.
They produce very high quality paint by number sets, with thin accurate outlines and easy to read numbers.
Each motif is printed on linen textured paper that is laminated onto a strong cardboard. This essentially gives the painted colors the perfect effect.
Schipper paint by number kits come with pre-mixed acrylic ready-to-use, non-fading water based paint.
The paints are superior quality, dry with a glossy finish which seems to cover very well in one application.
The paints supplied in the kits by Schipper are fantastic and if after you have received your paint by number kit you find that the paints are not up to high quality standards, you can visit the Schipper’s website and they will send you a complete set of new paints for free, all you need to do is pay for the shipping and handling, which is roughly $6.95.
You will not have to be concerned about running short of paint either because they will ship you extra as well.
The only problem is that you need to be patient on the time frame as it takes about six weeks to ship from Germany.

What Might Not Be So Good:
- The hefty price compared to other brands but than on the other hand you are paying for the superb quality.
- The paint by number kits come with one small paint brush, but I would recommend for you to buy a few extra paint brushes as well.
- If you are planning on buying the tri-paintings, it might be difficult to find the right size of frame. But than again you can purchase the frame kit from the Schipper Website.
All in all Schipper Paint by number kits are exceptional and well worth the money you spend on them.
